Obituary For Darryl Daniels

Reverend Darryl Daniels, 65, of Market St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Osteopathic Hospital. He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late Barry Daniels, Sr. and Frances M. (Roy) Daniels, a graduate of the former John Harris High School, retired from Keystone Parts, a member of McLamb Memorial Church of The Living God, where he served on the Ministerial Staff, a Sunday school and Bible school teacher, Superintendent of Sunday Schools and State Treasurer of PA Diocese of the Church of The Living God. In his leisure, he loved to watch sports and was a Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. Reverend Daniels was the widower of Helen Daniels and leaves to celebrate his life, his sons, Darryl Daniels, Jr., Joel Evans, Sr., Ashton Colbert, Yusef and Douglas Pitts; his daughters, Keyla and Keisha Evans, Shani Pitts, Lakeya Maynard and Brianna Finley; his sisters, Brenda Ervin Daniels; his brother, Gary Daniels; his 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 19 at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary of his Church, 5 N. 25th St., Penbrook with viewing 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
