Paul Harmon

Paul Harmon was born on March 26, 1945 to the late Mr. Ollie and Mrs. Myrtle Truss Harmon in Attala County. Paul accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and became a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He received his education in the Attala County Schools. Mr. Harmon was employed for J.C. Cheek Contractors, Inc. for almost fifty years. He loved his job and was a dedicated worker. He had several hobbies: listening to music, fishing, hunting, gardening and playing his guitar. He was a devoted husband and father to his own children as well as others.

Mr. Paul Harmon leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted wife of thirty-nine years, Catherine Veasley Harmon whom he married June 18, 1993; five children: Robert (Lakeshia) Veasley, Paul (Shireeta) Harmon, Bryan (Marketa) Harmon, David Harmon and Chaquetta Harmon all of Sallis, MS; three brothers: Bryant Terrells of Kosciusko, MS, King (Allie) Harmon, James Harmon both of Sallis, MS; one sister: Debra (James) Jamerson of Georgia; five sister-in-law: Sue and Minnie Harmon, Sharon, Shelia, and Martha Veasley; two brother-in-laws (Trent & Otis Veasley); mother-in-law: Dorothy McMillion, twelve grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. His parents, six brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
