Obituary For Mary Bostic Fye

Mary Bostic Fye was born on August 17, 1957 in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, Georgia to the late George and Emma Bostick. On Sunday, March 15, 2020 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, the Lord whispered and summoned our "BELOVED" to take her rest.

Mary accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Green Grove Baptist Church in Swainsboro, Georgia. Upon moving to Port St. Lucie, Florida, she joined All Nations Life Development Christian Centerwhere she was a dedicated and faithful member until her health failed.

Mary was a 1975 graduate of Swainsboro High School in Emanuel County, Georgia. Mary was a devoted, caring, nurturing, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary enjoyed shopping, family time, traveling, helping the ederly, working in the church, and most of all, making her world famous pound cakes and many other delicious culinary dishes.

On February 25, 1992, Mary was united in Holy Matrimony to Ronnie Fye. No one could ever have found a more devoted, dedicated, and loving husband.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and George Bostic; three brothers, Lonnie, Robert, and Eddie Bostic.

Mary Bostic Fye leaves to cherish her loving memories her loving husband, Ronnie Fye of Port St. Lucie, FL; children, Jacqueline Rucker of Midville, GA, Andrea Fye(Mike) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Marlon Rucker, Sr. of Midville, GA, and Leon Rucker, Jr.(Nikki) of Davie, FL; six loving grandchildren, Dominique Rucker of Augusta, GA, JaCourtney Cummings of Ludowici, GA, Marlon Rucker, Jr. of Statesboro, GA, Zaria Cummings of Augusta, GA, Jayden Rucker of North Lauderdale, FL, and Kaleb Rucker of Davie, FL; one great-grandson, Codi Moore of Augusta, GA; siblings, Georgia Coath of Philidelphia, PA, Adell Hinkins of Wadley, GA, Annie Johnson of Philadelphia, PA, Ethel Bennett of Charleston, SC, Charles Bostic, George Bostic, Jr., Roosevelt Bostic, Sr., and Calvin Bostic, Sr.(Ellen) all of Philadelphia, PA; her devoted in-laws, Henry and Mary Curtis of Fort Lauderdale, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces,great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

A public visitation for Mrs. Mary B. Fye will be held from 6 - 8 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home - Fort Pierce. A Funeral Service will be held 1pm on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at All Nations Life Development Center, 862 SW Glenview Ct, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953. Interment in Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port St. Lucie.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Mary. Mary and I grew up together and saw each other almost every day!! We were more like sisters, more so than friends. Mary and I grew up together, went to school together and graduated in 1975 together. I am so sorry to hear of her homegoing, and I know she will be truly missed.
