Obituary For Annie Katherine Miller

MRS. ANNIE KATHERINE MILLER - Age 84, of Ringgold, Georgia formally of Margaret, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. She worked at Sweetwater Carpet and the Holiday Inn for over 20 years and was a member of Mt. Peria Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Charles Miller Sr., father, George Randall; mother, Henritta Smith; and granddaughter Denise LaSalle Goins.

She is survived by her sons, GYSGT Charles Jr. (Edith) Miller of South Carolina, Edward Miller and Deric Miller of Ringgold, GA, and Eric Miller of LaFayette, GA; daughters, Gladys Miller Jordan of Rome, GA, Josephine Miller of Chattanooga, TN, Alfreda Miller of Ringgold, GA, Shermane Miller Brooks of East Ridge, TN; 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and special appreciations to Heart Hospice, Prime Care, Rest Care, and Homecare Solutions. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks St., Ringgold, GA 30736 with Minister Stanley Mills as Eulogist, and Pastor Edward Ellis officiating. Family will receive friends at the church one hour before service. Interment will be at Ringgold Community Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

My favorite memory of me and grandma A.k.a.Gramps when we used to sit on the porch she taught me how too look over fresh garden greens and pill them to get ready to be washed real good to go with Sunday dinner that she prepared.How she loved how I mopped her floors. Quote"You sho got those floors shining." That she would say.with a smile.
