Rufus over time became my friend through the thick and the thin. After his health and other issues slowly began to fail it got a little difficult at times but I remembered what the scripture said "I will never leave or forsake you" Sorry to see him go but no more pain or suffering will he endure. I will miss the good days,the laughs and the stories he would tell. He touched a lot of lives in many ways. Praying for the family members and his classmates of 1977 that God will comfort and strengthen you all.------Jack Cordy
