Obituary For Mr. Travis Timberlake

Mr. Travis Octavious Timberlake gained his wings on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1969 to the late Rosa McQueen Timberlake and Otis Carter of Durham, NC. He was also preceded in death maternal grandmother, Reophurs McQueen; paternal grandmother, Beulah Davis; aunts, Ester McQueen, Linda Carter, Helen Carter; uncle, Donald Ray Carter.

Travis attended T. Wingate Andrews High School. He was a devoted employee of Leggett & Platt until this time.

Those left to cherish his memories are his father, Otis Carter of Durham, NC; step mother, Alice Carter of High Point, NC; children, Carlissa Benson of Kernersville ,NC, Tuwanna Benson and Davonte Strickland both of High Point, NC; brothers, William (Sabrina) Timberlake, Ronnie Carter both of High Point, NC; sisters, Tonya (Dewinter) Peebles of Mocksville, NC, Tina Carter of High Point, NC; aunts, Brenda (Lorenzo) Smith, Blanche Parsons, Debbie Carter, Sharon Miller, Gloria (Ronald) Long all of High Point, NC; uncle, Marvin Gash; ten grandchildren; a very special friend who was dear to his heart, Ms. Maria Lytch; and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be no formal service at this time.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
