Darryl Sr., Antwan,Darryl Jr., and of course my BELOVED Deanna: MY SINCERE condolences to you at this time. Wishing that if times were different I could be in physical presence but at this time know in my absence EARTH HAS NO SORROW that HEAVEN CANNOT HEAL. I shall always remember the warm smiles of Rose and the hugs and hearing her laugh at my antics. She definitely was a MAJOR heartbeat of all who encountered her. May I also add the condolences of my godson Michael Myers and his wife who have become like children of my own, their condolences along with the members of their church Pleasant Rock Baptist Church in Ninety Six, SC who also extend their heartfelt sorrow. At some point I will acquire your address at their request so they can reach out to you all. As I am in the trenches of this virus at the hospital working day and night KNOW that I am with you in THOUGHT and PRAYER. And final thoughts as I know Rose would convey to you: REMEMBER ME WITH SMILES AND LAUGHTER FOR THAT IS THE WAY THAT I WILL REMEMBER YOU ALL; FOR IF YOU CAN ONLY REMEMBER ME WITH TEARS OF SADNESS THEN DONT REMEMBER ME AT ALL. May the warmth of the Lords touch, and the breath of God the words that will forever be in your hearts is LO I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS will be from Roses heart to all of us. David H Hunter

"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." Matthew 5:7-9 We were so blessed to have Rose in our lives for as long as we did and we thank God for that! She was one of the sweetest women we'll ever know. Always a smile and never an unkind word. She had faith the size of a mustard seed and it never wavered. Thank you Jesus for your love and mercy. We miss her dearly, but have no doubt she is resting in Heaven with you and our other loved ones who have gone before us. Love always, Wayne, Cheryl, Sydnee and Devyn.

To the Blake and Child's family. Rose was a beautiful lady inside and out. Her friendly personality endeared her to many people at the Department of Revenue. Heaven has gained another angel. Rest in paradise. I will keep the family in my prayers and I pray God gives you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Gail M. Boyd

To the Blake Family, Rose was a wonderful & delightful lady. She truly loved the Lord and everyone knew it. Every morning she would come in to work with that cheerful "Good morning" so much everyone would listen for her. Shortly after I met Rose, she called me "Suga". That was her name for me. I can't remember the last time she called me by my real name. My name for her was "Rosie Rose". I have missed her very much after she retired and would think of her often. I would call her and we would talk about my little granddaughter and her grand babies. I will miss her. I have many fun memories working with Rose in the Mail Center and I will cherish them. Mr. Darryl, "Antoine", Darryl Jr., & De De, I will continue to keep you lifted in prayer. God will keep and comfort you all!! Love always Angela Price Heard

Rose Blake was truly a precious rose. Oh how our mother gave her the name that so matched her character perfectly. She was a woman of strong faith! She loved her family with all her heart and would do anything for them. The works she's done and the life she lived is her eulogy. She was my sweet rose, prayer partner, a best friend, but most precious, my sister! I know she is with the Lord! She fought a good fight and the victory has been won! Take your rest my dear sister! Love always! Baby Girl, Ann Childs Jessie

Certainly God has plucked an angel from the earth to fill his heavenly garden! I worked with Rose for many years at Ga Department of Revenue... she lit up every room she entered with that beautiful smile! Always a kind & encouraging word for everyone. Darryl, Antwan, & family I pray God's strength upon you as you grieve the loss of your beautiful Rose. I pray her beautiful smile & love she gave will resonate in your hearts always & cause you to smile! Love & Peace, Adrienne Godfrey
