Obituary For John "J.R." Robert Cason, Sr.

John Robert "J.R." Cason, Sr. age 74 passed away March 24, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Richard and Ollie B. Malone Cason; Brother, Richard Crawford.

J.R. leaves to cherish his memories Son, John Robert "Bobby" Cason, Jr.; Grandsons, Demarco and Tylor Q. Cason; Sisters, Alma E. (Shannon) Blackman, Josephine Briggs, Katie (Raymond) Murray, and Susie Mae Cason; Sister-in-law, Vera Crawford; Very devoted friend Janice Chaney. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to the governor of the State of Tennessee advisement regarding the current concern for public safety, we have made our drive through window at Hellum Funeral Home, Inc., available for public viewing for J.R.'s family and friends to come and pay their respects, Friday March 27, 2020 from the hours of 4:00-6:00 PM.

Graveside service Saturday, 1 PM at Hickory Grove Cemetery, 5209 West Jefferson Pike Smyrna, Tn. Pastor Damond E. Bragg eulogist.

We request that only immediate family pay their respects at the gravesite, all other family and friends please remain in their vehicles as we are being mindful of the "Social Distancing" that we may all remain safe and healthy.
