Obituary For Jerry Dozier

Mr. Jerry Dozier, 51 of Smiths Station, AL passed Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, March 28, 2020 at New Nelius Baptist Church, Smiths Station, AL with Rev. Eddie Lee Morgan, officiating. There will be no public visitation.

Mr. Jerry Dozier was born February 3, 1969 in Smiths Station, AL to Joe M. Dozier, Sr. and the late Mary Lee Dozier. He was a graduate of Smiths Station High School. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Nelius Baptist Church and was employed at Mando in Cusseta, AL as a forklift driver.

Survivors include, his father, Joe M. Dozier, Sr.; two children, Chaleathia Moffett and Deionta Goshay; sisters, Mary Nell Frazier, Mary Bell McBride, Lou Verne Caldwell, Bettie Sue Dozier, Lorraine Greathouse, Angela Perez and Mildred Dozier; brothers, Charlie C. Dozier, Samuel (Andrea) Dozier, Joe Dozier, Jr., Eugene (Vivian) Dozier, Christopher (Kendyl) Tarver and Terance (Kemia)Tarver; three grandchildren, Chloe Moffett, Chylan Moffett and Dylan Goshay; aunts, Susie Rowell, Elsie Quarles, Jearlean (Tommie) Williams, Alzattie Ward, Sallie (Willie) Thomas, Beverly Turpin and Margaret Turpin; uncles, Walter Lee Morgan, Charles Turpin and Jessie Turpin; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
