Missing you every day. Things are not the same without you. Years have passed and I still think about you protecting us and watching over us. You were a great man and taught everyone how to act and carry themselves as an adult. Sis. Rose

Cousin Ferrell, although I haven't seen you in quite a while, I recall our childhood fun days. Tried to get you to attend our July 2019 reunion, but you had to work. Our prayers are extended to your immediate family, siblings and children. Loving memories..Alice Matthews Jones

I will miss you brother. You were the bodyguard of the family after Daddy died. No matter who came to the house, you would check it out. Even though the person didn't see you , you saw them and you came over to see what they wanted . Thanks for that. Take your rest with the Lord. He loves you the best. Your Sister, Clementine

To the man that made me love the game of basketball. Sorry it take me so long to post. Ferrell I'm still in shock that your gone. You made me understand and love the game of basketball at a young age. You did not tolerate show boating and talking trash to other teams. Like these kids do today. If you saw it we was sitting on that bench real quick. It didn't matter how good you were or how many points you scored. If some of these coaches today had that mindset they would have better teams. You didn't have any favorites you treated us all the same. You never let me waste my talent you brought out the best in me. I will always love you for that. I just wish I had you when I moved up to school ball. The things we could've done. I remember the last time I saw you at the rec game watching your granddaughter play. You said to me I got to get back into coaching to get her right. I was ready to see you on the sidelines again with that Blue baseball helmet on. Lol.I have a son now and if he decides to play basketball I will teach him everything the right way. The way you taught me to play.Love you coach Ferrell. Rest easy Tawanda
