Aretha R. Kelley,51,Gadsden, passed away Friday March 27,2020. The Obituary Our beloved Aretha (Arease Robbins) Mosley Kelley was born May 15,1968 in Gadsden, AL to the union of Linda Jean Mosley and Harry Fleming. She was raised in the care of Roy and Grace Robbins of Attalla, AL. Her education came from Dobbs Kindergarten, St. Martin Deporres Catholic School, and Etowah High School where she graduated in the class of 1986. She also attended New World College of Gadsden and Gadsden State Jr. College. Aretha accepted Christ in her younger life at the Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend G.E. Robinson Sr. She later joined the Kingdom Place Minister of Lenlock, AL under the leadership of Apostle Marcus Dunn. On April 24, 1998 she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Raymond Kelley Jr. and to this union, two children were born. In her earthly life, Aretha was a very sweet soul. She didn’t meet any stranger. She was always had a beautiful smile and loving heart. During the last 12 years, Aretha battled sickness but through it all she believed and trusted in God to carry her through. On Friday, March 27, 2020 at 9:56 am, she was called to be with her Heavenly father at U.A.B Hospital with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by Roy and grace Robbins, Linda J. Mosley and Harry Fleming. Her son, Raymond Kelley III, her father-in-law, Raymond Kelley Sr. and her two sisters, Lisa Mosley. Aretha leaves to cherish her memories; A loving and devoted husband, Raymond Kelley Jr. of Attalla, AL. Children, KeAnna Kelley, Rayzjun Kelley, Nastassja Cosby, James Kelley, Raynesjia Patterson, and Marquis Patterson. Brothers, Richard (Cornelius) Slaughter, Calvin and Kalvin Fleming. Sister, Harriet (Michael) Brewster. Grandchildren, Ronnie III (Tripp), Genesis, Joitin, Canaan, Cade, Grant, Kodie, Tamika, Jamarcus, Angelique, Faithfalee, and Zachariah. Mother-in Law, Canray Kelley. Brother & Sister-in-Law, Cynthia Kelley, Bernice Clark, William Kelley, Nicole Young, Jessica Kelley and Shelia Burton. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other cousins and friends.
