Obituary For Rosita Smith Thompson

Mrs. Rosita Smith Thompson, 59, of Bardestown, KY died on March 25, 2020 at her residence.

She was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Mrs. Thompson will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Juanita Smith.

Survivors include a daughter, April Thompson of Campbellsville, KY; two sons, Donald Thompson Jr. and Franklin Thompson both of Campbellsville, KY; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Imoginia Smith Poole (Curtis) of Campbellsville, KY, Leticia Smith Sanders (Anthony) of Hopkinsville, KY; a brother, George Smith of Campbellsville, KY; and host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Life for Mrs. Rosita Thompson will be held at a later date.

Buchanan, Robinson & Percell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

To The Family. Rosita qas a good woman.ive seen her over the years like family.i loved her talking fast we both would tell each other we need to slow down an lol. She loved her church family..An all her family &friends..She never met a stranger an always willing to serve no matter what..She would talk with me about her kids an family about how much she loved them even sometimes with tears in her eyes when we talk. She loved to cook an enjoyed others food too. Especially when it came to Homecoming at Her church she would say Pleasant Union Baptist Church. She will be miss.Onething I know God needed you back home. So to all her children , grandkids, sisters an brother. She's Safe in the arms of God..Shes smiling down on you all. April I know in my heart she's so proud of you and smiling down on you for doing what she ask. Saying that's my baby, my twin. R.I.P My Friend my heart is heavy an tears flow..Yet I know your in your heavenly home smiling, serving, an still cooking in your heavenly home.
