There are times when there are too few words left to heal us,it seems so cruel to lose one so dear. Time may dull the pain but we will never forget Bessie. Love JB, Peggy, Dorthy, and the entire Johnson family

To the Mitchell & Woodson Family, Ms. Bessie was the sweetest person I have ever known. She treated me like one of her owned. She loved the Lord and was not ashamed to let you know it. Her come voice would always get your attention. She's with the Lord now, but she will always be in my heart. Jerry Hall

My ever-loving Big Sister, who was my second mama. I remember us all together under one roof with Mama. Seem like we was being bad kids messing around (me and my niece) and I was placed on punishment. Guess what my punishment was? I had to sit in her room with her until she got tired. That felt worse than the "switch". For years, I dwell on how she handled that scenario, and it brings about a Smile. That was Love. My Big Sis, you brought the most wonderful lives into this world to demonstrate your Love. I will always cherish, miss, and love you. Thank you for leading the way and setting the example. THANK YOU RAY: As I sit here thinking and remembering, I need to thank my sister for being there for me, while you had your own struggles. I looked to you for encouragement. I thank you for the fish and biscuit, for my school picnic. I thank you for the 3-eggs needed for the Easter egg hunt at school. I thank you for letting me ware your penny loafers to graduate from elementary. I thank you for caring for my Gloria, when I went to Florida to pick fruit. I thank God for his Grace and Mercy for holding the train the night we crawled under with baby Phyllis, to the other side. TO MY NIECES AND NEPHEWS: Mom has finished her job here, and a wonderful job it was indeed. She has left you directions to where she is. If you all will follow the straight and narrow road from earth to our home glory, she will be waiting for you, just resting in the arms of our Father in Heaven. Aunt Martha
