Annette Hamer was born in Dillon County, Latta, South Carolina on August 6, 1969. The Lord called her home to gain her wings on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Annette was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Francis Fulmore Hamer.

Annette attended Dillon County public schools in Dillon, South Carolina. She attended New Springs Church in Florence, South Carolina. She worked at Bojangles for twenty-seven years in management. She loved to laugh and have fun.

She was preceded in death by her brother: Dennis Hamer; two uncles: Steve and Thomas Hamer.

Annette will be remembered and forever loved by her sons: Rakim Hamer of Charleston, SC, Ravon Hamer and Reggie Manning both of Florence, SC; grandchild: Sha’Dre McCollum; sister: Jackie (Randy) Williams of Mullins, SC; uncles: Glen(Rose Mary) Fulmore of Dillon, SC, Oliver Hamer, Phillip Hamer both of Columbus, GA, Mark Hamer of Latta, SC, Fredrick Hamer of Florence, SC; aunts: Nora C. Fulmore, Maggie L. Fulmore both of Brooklyn, NY, Evelyn L. Blue of High Point, NC, Mary E. (David) Leslie, Christine F. McCoy, Nora C.
