Private graveside services for Mr. Rudolph Fairley, Sr. will be held Friday, April 10, 2020 at 3:00 p.m at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Shucktown with Reverend Benny Hopkins officiating. Public viewing will be held Friday from 9:30 a.m until 2:00 p.m. at Cedric D. Clark Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Mr. Fairley was born April 13, 1930 in Wiggins Mississippi. He was a graduate of Alcorn State University, with a BS in Industrial Arts, and remained active in the alumni association until his death. He was an industrial arts teacher for many years and the owner of Fairley Construction Company. He was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church until he moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2017 and joined Greenforest Baptist Church in Decatur, GA. He was married to the Mother of his children, Arie Jean Fairley until her death in 1970. He later remarried Ina Pearl Fairley until her death in 2017. He loved spending time with his family and serving his church. He is survived by his children, Melinda(James), Delila(Ron), Sheva, Rudolph Jr. (Karana); his grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Maya, Tye, Sanaa; his siblings, Ruby Lee , John Henry and numerous relatives. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Alcorn State University or New Hope Baptist Church.
