I was Blessed to meet Mrs. Harris in 1977. Seems just like Yesterday.she took me in like a daughter. Sometimes, she would say Gay i'm gonna tell you this and you might not like it. and sometimes I didn't like it. But I knew she was telling the truth. some years would pass before our paths crossed again when she celebrated her 100th Birthday. I went to visit her. She had a smile on her face and a glow so bright. you knew it was God's light shinning through her. more so She was in her right mind and full of spirit. We talked a little about the old days. she had a laugh that would light you up. I thank Cynthia and Linda for allowing me to be part of the Family. Rest on Mrs. Harris you have certainly earned your wings and the Golden gates has welcomed you home.We know You will continue to look down on us. Hey we wouldn't have it any other way. Will forever Love you. you Looked amazing at 103 yrs young. Love you Ganell Phillips

Cousin Mamie was a blessing to the family. She had so much wisdom and many, many stories to share. She was the last of the "old school" generation and will truly be missed. Our condolences to the family. Love Danal Ray and Katie Johnson and family.
