Dorothy Patronia “Pat” Spires

Dorothy Patronia “Pat” Spires (75), was born July 24, 1944 to Preston and Sallie Mae Brinson.

Mrs. Spires passed away on March 11, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Quitman, Ga.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Spires Sr; her parents, Mr. Preston and Mrs. Sallie Mae Brinson; four sisters, Peggy Williams, Bernice Lohman, Ruth Jenkins, and Florine Johnson; and one brother, Jack Brinson.

Pat is survived by her sons, Billy (Pat) Spires, David Spires, and Chris Spires; daughters-in-law, Donna Spires; six grandchildren,Michael, Jamie, Sean, Brandon, Christopher, and Haley Spires; great grandchildren, Cieanna, Brieanna, Colton, Weston, Gage, Avery Grace, Easton, and Brayden Spires; a special niece and nephew, Cathy and Donny Mae; and sons, Kevin, Todd, Scott (Leah), and Eric (Lisa) Alexander; special niece and nephew, Larie and Ed Cooper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private interment will be held at Okapilco Baptist Church Cemetery later for the family.
