Dear Glenn Family, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you for having shared Bishop with so many of us for such a time as this. He was truly a good spiritual Father in the Faith, (as you, Mother Glenn, have been a good spiritual Mother in the Faith) to your spiritual sons and daughters. We join with so many by saying how much we will miss Bishop. We are sincerely grateful for how you both partnered to be a blessing to our family. The teachings, the strength, the prayers, the labor of love you all poured into us is something we will always cherish. Know that we are behind the scenes praying your strength in the Lord. And with the help of the Lord and by His grace, you will receive strength to continue the journey. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3. May the Comforter minister comfort to each of you during this time. Sincerely, Jay, Donna Jones and Children.

"I thank my. God upon every remembrance of you."Phillipians 1:3. I visited New Deliverance with my Daughter and Granddaughter and saw and felt Bishop and Mothers' kindly care of them. I subsequently joined; as well. Bishop was Pastor; Father; Teacher; Friend and fellow Saint Paulite! In such a large congregation; it mattered to me that he knew my name! He gave his "old folks"(50+) breakfasts: oh; how he loved his Seniors! He was well-known and loved by the community at large; the Church of God in Christ and beyond...yet he loved people. On a recent birthday; he blessed me to be able to go to my favorite restaurant. I will miss him in Noonday Bible Study and his way with words. Be encouraged Mother; family and my NDEC family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sis Sudie P. Williams

I met Mr. Glenn in 1988 when he became my boss at the Virginia Department of Health Professions. He was a wonderful boss and taught me so much about state government. I will always be grateful for his wisdom and kindness to me. I wish Mrs. Glenn and the family peace. Rest assured that Mr. Glenn is with God. Sincerely, Faye (Karl) Lemon

Our heartfelt prayers and condolences to the Glenn family. Bishop Glenn was a man of integrity, always honorable in his ways and emblematic of what Jesus wanted in His disciples. Bishop was always vocal about the injustices in our communities, and for that, we lost not only a great and respected voice, but we lost a brave and courageous servant of the Lord. Bishop, our prayer is that your legacy lives on throughout generations to come.

"I Absolutely Trust God"!! I watch Bishop Glenn every Sunday on TV before going to my home church. I met him in 2018 during physical therapy. The therapist didn't know who he was but I did. I told them that's the Bishop. He was mild mannered and talked about his career and service to others. I only saw him twice in PT because we had different schedules. However, I was glad that I got to meet him in person. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Mother Glenn and family as well as the NDEC church family. Keep trusting God for strength and healing. Looking forward to Mother Glenn delivering the word on Sundays because you are truly a very strong, courageous and blessed woman of God!! GD3NG Sincerely, Tammy Williams

My heartfelt sympathy & prayers , To Mother Glenn & Glenn Family. Psalms 23 The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want . He make the me to lie down in green pastures: he lead me beside the still waters. He restore my soul: he lead me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake . Yea though I walk through the valley of death , I will fear no evil: for thy rid and thy staff they comfort me . Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Love , Brittina Jones

What can I say, it's still so hard to believe that my Spiritual Father is no longer with us physically. Bishop Glenn, you will truly be missed, I love you and my daughters Ashley and Kyra Gass and I have cried, shared your sermons and talked about what you meant to us. We will miss your songs, your sermons, your words of encouragement as we dealt with the vicissitudes of life, you always seem to preach just what we were dealing with at various stages of our lives, we loved your teaching and preaching style, you loved on us and accepted each of us for who we were, and Wednesday night Bible Study was the best that I have ever been to, your sense of humor, the way you loved your family and our Church family and I have always admired the love that you showed to Mother Glenn, not many men would sleep on the cough when their wife was away, it was a beautiful love story, how you all met and grew over the years to your 40th year Anniversary. NDEC will never be the same, but like Mother said today, we will go on in Faith. We love you Bishop and will miss you so much. My love and prayers go our to Mother Glenn and our entire NDEC First Family. Be Strong, Be Blessed. With Love, Sister Joyce Drummond

Not able to attend any church I would go through the television channels to feed my spirit. It is one of those Sunday mornings that I listened to Bishop Glen. I enjoyed that service and many more after. Certainly one once able to deliver such teachings about Jesus had to know all about him. Thank you family for loaning him to us. Prayers of comfort are sent your way.
