Obituary For Spc. Milik Craig

Spc. Milik Jaquez Craig entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 3, 2020 in Jber, Alaska. He was born on November 24, 1999 in Lancaster, South Carolina. He was the son of Phoebe Craig and Osles Cunningham and Tobias Etheredge. Milik was educated in the Richland County School System. He completed the National Health Career Association and earned his certification as a EKG Technician.

Milik enlisted in the United States Army on March 26, 2018. He completed his basic training at Fort Benning Georgia. He was a paratrooper from the 1st Battalion (Airborne), 501st Infantry Regiment. He holds several awards including the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Parachutist Badge.

Milik is predeceased by his grandmother, Carrie Craig.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents Phoebe L. Craig and Tobias Etheridge of Columbia, SC and Oscles (Bobtrice)Cunningham of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Kevion Craig of Lancaster, SC, King Craig of Columbia, SC and Avery Crawford of Phoenix, Arizona; five sisters, Trinity Craig, Tabitha Craig, Jada Craig and Dorothy Craig all of Columbia, SC and Keyondra Robinson of Lancaster, SC; grandmother, Margaret Murray of Columbia, SC; five aunts, Marquiala (Larrice) Shannon, Angela Hammond, Bessie Ealy, Dolores Cunningham of Lancaster, SC and Porsha Murray of Columbia, SC; three uncles, Ahmad Craig of Lancaster, SC, Ryan and Eramis Murray of Columbia, SC and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.

Private Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Stewart Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Howard Cureton and Reverend Jerusha Gaither. Burial will be in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Friday at Stewart Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a limited number of people allowed in the funeral home.
