Darron Kyles was born to Gene and Virgie Kyles on December 2, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He is a graduate of Westinghouse High School and Kaplan College. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Darron served his country during Operation Desert Storm. He was a Program Support Assistant at the Department of Veterans Affairs and an active volunteer in veteran support programs. While travelling outside of Nashville, TN on April 4, 2020, he fell ill at a travel stop and was found to be severely dehydrated. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital where he later became unresponsive and made his heavenly transition. He is preceded by his mother Virgie Kyles. He is survived by Father - Gene Kyles; son - Darius (Ebony Cohran) Kyles; siblings - Lantz Kyles, Sharon Oliver, and Jason (Joyce) Kyles; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, Delano, Marion, and loving family members and friends. The viewing will be from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at R S Lewis & Sons, 2944 Walnut Grove Rd, due to the Covid-19 stipulations the funeral home can only allow 10 people in at a time. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at R S Lewis & Sons located at 2944 Walnut Grove Rd Memphis, Tennessee. Interment will be in West Tennessee Veteran Cemetery, immediately following the service. We thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and consideration during this difficult time for our family.
