Obituary For Christine Hilton Johnson

Ms. Christine Hilton Johnson, the fifth child of eight children born to the late James Eugene Hilton Sr. and Cora Lee Brantley. She was born in Augusta, Georgia. Christine fought a good fight and a victorious, triumphant entrance in to the presence of God on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisville, GA.The family ask that we all be mindful of COVID-19 and adhere to the guidelines. Public viewing will be held Friday, April 17, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA. She received her education in Jefferson County school system. She graduated from Louisville High School in Louisville, GA. The “Class of 1978”. She served her community and family during her career life. She was employed at both the J. P. Stevens Incorporated and Thermo King. After her relocation to Salisbury N.C. she worked at Ingersoll Rand. Christine was known as “A Bridge” and her life exemplified the spirit of service. As a young adult she was a member of Gordon Grove Baptist Church. When she relocated to Salisbury N.C., she continued to worship. She attended the Cornerstone Church, Salisbury, NC. Christine’s survivors include her children, Nathaniel (Sherita) Hilton of Martinez, GA, Jonathan (Erica) Quarterman of Louisville, GA, Ronda Johnson of Martinez, Ga and Carolyn Marie Johnson of Salisbury N.C. Her sibling John (Beulah) Hilton of Hephzibah Georgia; James (Lillian) Hilton of Washington, DC; Marie Hilton of Washington, DC; William (Phyllis) Hilton of Lithonia, GA; Carolyn Hilton Jones of Lawrenceville, GA; Alfonso Hilton of Washington D.C. Her aunts Marie Morris of Savannah GA and Nancy B. Thompson of Louisville, GA, Florine Brantley, Savannah, GA; Two uncles; Ed Willie and Willie T. Burton all of Louisville, GA; nine grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street are in charge of arrangements for Ms. Christine Hilton Johnson,
