Obituary For Bernice Branch Smith

The late Mrs. Bernice Branch Smith of 1451 Newton Drive, Tifton, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifon, Georgia.

A private service for the family will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. from the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia.

Mrs. Bernice Smith was born September 7, 1944 in Turner County, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Millet and Violet Grant Branch.

Bernice was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Otis Smith. This union was blessed with seven children.

Bernice gave up this busy walk of life on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. Her parents, her husband, and several sisters and brothers have all preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Gwenda L. Smith, Roema Smith (Marcel), both of Ashburn, Georgia, Marie Tyler ( Anthony) of Sylvester, Georgia; four sons, Timmely Smith of Valdosta, Georgia, Eric Smith, of Tifton, Georgia, Victor Smith, Quincey Smith, both of Ashburn, Georgia; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; a sister, Mattie Dunnum of Wilmington, Delaware; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and a special friend, John Sheffield.
