OPELOUSAS – Memorial service will be held privately for Mr. Andrew “Penoonie” Duplechain, Jr., 32, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in Lake Charles, LA.

Mr. Duplechain leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Andrew Duplechain, Sr. (step mother, Bernadette) of Lake Charles, LA; his fiancée, Daquanda Broussard of Sulphur, LA; three sons, Ashton Davis, Joshua Duplechain and Jadon Garrick, all of Opelousas, LA; three daughters, Terione Smith and Andreona Duplechain, both of New Orleans, LA and Andrea Duplechain of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Mandrey Duplechain, Sr. of Lake Charles, LA; two sisters, Mareaco Chachere of Lake Charles, LA and Shequanna Thibodeaux Petite (Kelvin) of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Paula Chachere Duplechain; maternal grandparents, Neri and Nellie Chachere; paternal grandparents, Ancerlee and Theresa Duplechain; and his nephew, Demarcus.
