Obituary For Leon McKissack, Jr.

Leon McKissack, Jr., passed away on April 17, 2020 at James H. Quillen VAMC in Mountain Home, Tennessee at the age of 63. He was born in Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of Jessie Mary McKissack and the late Leon McKissack, Sr. Leon was preceded in death by his son, LaCorey Damont Petway and brother, William Anthony McKissack.

Leon leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Lorenzo Petway, Sheniche Petway, Raffiel (Tonyell) Petway and Talisa Petway; 7 grandchildren; mother, Jessie M. McKissack; sister, Patricia (Jerry) Scruggs; brother, James McKissack; devoted friend, Sandra Slemp; daughter-in-law, Victoria Petway; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

There will be no public viewing or funeral for Mr. Leon McKissack due to the COVID-19 Virus.

Private Graveside Service will be held for Mr. McKissack at a later date.
