Obituary For Eddie Lee "Ricky" Daniels

Mr. Eddie Lee Daniels, affectionately known to many as “Ricky”, 61, Louisville, GA, departed this life Monday, April 20, 2020 at his residence. Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Pleasant C.M.E. Church and Cemetery, Bartow, GA. Mr. Daniels was born in Jefferson County to the parentage of Mrs. Johnnie Mae Daniels and the late Andrew W. Daniels. He was a 1977 graduate of Louisville High School. At an early age he joined Mt. Pleasant C.M.E. Church. Eddie was employed with Bell Pine Straw and was a former employee of Delilah/Samson Manufacturing, where he worked faithfully until plant closure. He is preceded in death by his father and four siblings, Terry “Funk” Daniels, Linda Marie Daniels, Elnora Daniels Hicks, and John Wesley Daniels. Survivors include his beloved mother whom he loved dearly, Johnnie Mae Daniels, Louisville, GA; his sons, Shaun Micheal (Qentavia Pettigrew) Daniels, Wrens, GA, Dexter Lee (Yasemine Williamson) Daniels, Sr., Louisville, GA; stepchildren, Reginald McBride, Fitzgerald GA, Emanuel McBride, Tifton GA; his siblings, Diane D. Tennyson, Louisville, GA, Andrew W. (Essie) Daniels, Jacksonville, FL, Patricia A. Daniels, New Haven, Conn, Willie (Shirley) Daniels, Irma, S.C., Myrtis Brinson, Howard (Lena) Brinson, Atlanta, GA; two aunts, Lenora Jackson, Brooklyn N.Y., Corene Daniels, Newark, N.J.; six grandchildren; Sharay Daniels, McKenzie Daniels, Shasha Daniels, Wrens GA, J’Shawn James, Davisboro, GA, Khymoni Da’Kari Williamson, Dexter Lee Daniels Jr., Louisville, GA; Mother of his children, Patricia A. McBride, Louisville, GA; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Eddie Lee Daniels.
