Marion Allen was born February 16, 1954, in Barnwell County, South Carolina to the late Fred and Pearl Allen. He was educated in the public schools of Barnwell County. He was employed for many years at Mohawk Industries; Ulmer, South Carolina. Marion worked faithfully until his health began to decline.

On October 31, 1993, Marion married the love of his life, Patricia Smith Allen and this union was blessed with four children. He was a devoted husband and father who provided unconditionally for his family. He was a man of few words but had a heart of gold.

During his leisure time, Marion enjoyed spending time outdoors under his favorite tree, fishing, and cutting grass.

Our beloved love one has been taken, but God has gained another angel. On Thursday, April 23, 2020, Marion was called from labor to reward at the Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina.

As he enters his new life, he will greeted with love from his beloved parents, one sister, Mary Francis Allen, (2) sisters-in-law, and (1) brother-in-law.

Marion leaves to cherish his beloved memories; his loving and devoted wife of twenty-seven years, Patricia Allen of the home; (3) Sons; Craig (Pamela) Smith, Kelvin (Tenille) Smith, and Spencer Smith; (1) Daughter; Latoya (Torian) Washington; (4) Granddaughters; (4) Grandsons; (2) Great-Grandsons; (1) Special Granddaughter reared in the home, Anariea Washington; (1) Brother; Eddie (Edith) Allen; (4) Sisters; Pearlie Mae Allen, Gladys (Thomas) Holmes, Martha Roberts and Eloise Allen Moore; (2) Sisters-in-law; Deloris (John) Deloach, and Alice Drayton; (1) Brother-in-law; Madison Haynes; (3) Devoted friends; Chief Marvin Williams, Tina Rodell, and Wyman Razor. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sympathizing friends.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020, 1:00 P.M.; at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Fairfax, South Carolina; Minister Valaree Chess Smith, Officiating.

Calling Hours were held Friday, May 1, 2020, 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., at M.F. Riley's Memorial Chapel, Fairfax, South Carolina.
