I just found out that MS Price had past, this is what I remember her as, I was in her first class that she taught right out of college, I was in the third grade we connected because we both like dancing. My mother would often say she need to teach me not just dance. I would got to visit her when she lived in Connecticut and Rocky Mount. She was well loved by her students we had a program that she attended when were in high school. No one really cared what she had to say we were just excited to see her. She lived a very well loved and good life. Sorry I didn't know. (6/7/2022)

It's difficult not being able to say good bye. Closure is always needed when you loved someone so beautiful as you. The Family times you shared with my brothers and I can not compare to any one else. We were only months away from traveling to celebrate a major mile stone of maturity your 80th birthday with you. God had other plans for you and we can only be happy you are not in pain any longer. I am proud to have had you as my Aunt and part of the family. I will always Thank you for telling us how proud you were of us. And how well we work together to put thngs together such as family reunions and other gatherings. To hear so many people speak highly of my Aunt Ann makes me happy inside. To the Edge and Price family, I met Mrs. Ann when I worked for Quality Laundry. She and Mr. Joe would bring in dry cleaning every week. Mrs. Ann was one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met. Every since I met her and Mr. Joe I started calling them Papa Joe and Mama Ann. I would see her from time to time at the grocery store. She always had a smile on her face. The last time I spoke with her, I told her that I missed her and she told me that I could come by to see her. Rest on now Mama Ann. Now you and Papa Joe are together again! May God grant each family member peace and serenity during this trying time.

I was blessed to have Mrs. Edge as my Elementary school principal. We never had to worry about having someone to look up to that looked like us because we had her. She was so beautiful, so kind, so loving. She made us all feel like we were her family. I remember one year she arranged for us to watch Lion King on the big screen. I couldn't believe it! Coolest principal ever! But my fondest memory of Mrs. Edge was my 4th grade year. It was awards day. I didn't go to school that day because I was sick. She personally called my mom and said can you bring Candace to school today. I really want her to be here because she's getting a award. My mom said ok and took me to school. Never could have I imagined what that day would be like. I got atleast 6 awards that day. Top accelerated reader in my class and top reader in the whole school also ab honor roll to name a few. Mrs. Edge would smile so big every time I went up there. I was so happy and proud of myself that day. It was because of her that this day was possible. She went above and beyond for her students. She pushed us to try our very best! She could have easily given me my awards the next day but she gave me the experience of knowing what success felt like. It was a good feeling!Thank you Mrs. Edge you made a huge impact on my life. Though I'm sad to know you are gone from this earth physically I know you are in heaven walking the streets of gold. Love you so much Mrs. Edge- Candace Harvey

I met Ms. Edge many years ago as she was the President of Rocky Mount Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and I was a new member to the Sisterhood. As time moved on we would cross paths at several educational forums. It made my heart extremely glad to watch the emotion of joy and excitement on her face when the little students (or big students) would come up to the front and recite the pledge, say a speech or receive an award. Ms. Edge along with her sidekick "Doneva Chavis" would be their Biggest Cheerleaders. I didn't know who was more happier, the Parents or Ms. Edge. One of the hardest things I had to Saturday morning was to tell my daughter Harmonie that you were gone. She cried and then brought me something you gave her in Middle School that she kept in her Bible... Thank You! for making my daughter feel that her life was important to You... You Will Be Missed! I met Mrs.Edge years ago when I started doing her nails. She was always uplifting and treated me, my husband and son as one of her own children. She was always supportive of my son. Last time I saw her was at my cousins 60th birthday party probably a year ago, she told me when I turn 80 I want you at my birthday party, I told her I wouldn't miss it. Well Mrs. Edge I will still celebrate your 80th in my heart. I didn't talk to her often but, I know I had a special place in her heart, as she did mine.
