Obituary For Marshall Johnson

Marshall Johnson, 69, son of the late Sidney and Leora Gunn Johnson went from his earthly home early Friday morning April 24th, 2020 to his heavenly home. Marshall was born in Durham and attended Durham Public Schools. Marshall was the proud owner of M&C Johnson Cleaning Services. Marshall loved the Lord with all his heart, he adored his family especially Grandson Sidney and loved his friends.

Marshall will forever be missed by his loving wife of 25 years, Christa Umstead-Johnson of the home; Sons, Marshall J. Johnson of Creedmoor N.C., Michael A Grissom II (Neijia) of Rolesville NC, Nephews: Erik Bolden(Yvette) and Aaron Bolden of Durham NC. Grandchildren, Sidney Marshall Parker and Adrianna Jolie Grissom. A host of special grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great niece Alana Bolden, extended family and friends. To know Marshall was to love Marshall.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and state mandates, a public memorial service to Celebrate Marshall’s Life will be scheduled at a later time.
