Obituary For Ms. Betty Granville

Ms. Betty Granville 71,of Lilly GA entered into eternal rest on Monday April 27, 2020. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Granville Family. Final rites have been entrusted to Coes Funeral Home Unadilla, GA.

Graveside Services for Ms. Betty Granville of Lilly GA will be Saturday May 2, 2020 by immediate family only at the Forest Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Pinehurst GA. Public Visitation will be held Friday May 1 from 4-6 p.m.

We are asking for everyone to practice social distancing and for no more than 3 or 5 people to assemble or congregate at a single given time.

Coes Funeral home staff and immediate family sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we follow the state recommended guidelines in an effort to minimize the impact of this pandemic.

Sis Betty Granville is a native of Dooly County, GA. She was educated in the Dooly County School System. She loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Lilly, GA. She was preceded in death by one brother, Mr. Eddie Lloyd. She leaves behind the following to cherish her memories. Four loving children, Mr. Sylvester (Sharontia) Granville of Perry, GA; Mrs. Betty (David) Battle of Cordele, GA; Mr. Willie (Monica) Granville of Cordele, GA; and Mr. Billy (Latresha) Granville of Vienna, GA. Five devoted siblings, Mr. J.C. Lloyd (Betty), Ms. Josephine Taylor, and Mr. Arthur Lee Lloyd all of Vienna, GA; Mr. Ralph Lloyd; and Mr. James Lloyd of Athens, GA. 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Several devoted friends Betty Joe Davis, Janet Felton, and Lillie Kate Granville. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
