Harold was educated in the Gaston County School System. He worked in the maintenance department as several different textile facilities. He enjoyed listening music and watching TV. Harold consulted the Lord and he heard his cry.
Peachie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Margaret Glenn; daughter: Iris Frostina “Tina” Glenn, sister: Mary L. Craig, and the person who reared him: William Kennedy and grandchildren: Darren Gray and DeQuasha Glenn.
His precious memories will forever be cherished by his four children: son: Harold F. Glenn, Jr. and daughters: Ann-Margaret “Kay-Kaye” Glenn both of Gastonia, North Carolina, Latugoya Johnson and Glenda Johnson both of Wilmington, Delaware; one brother: Charles E. Kennedy of Gastonia, North Carolina; three sisters: Betty Ann Patterson (Neal), Brenda Byrd (Arthur) and Linda R. Brice (Ricky) all of Gastonia, North Carolina; one uncle: Bobby Johnson of Clover, South Carolina; grandchildren: DeVonte Glenn and Donterrius Glenn both of Gastonia, North Carolina, Travis Mason of Charlotte, North Carolina, Senterrius Mason and Janika Mason both of Raleigh, North Carolina and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Wednesday; April 29, 2020 at the funeral home from 2 until 2:00 p.m.
A private graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Gastonia.
