Juanita Brown Hill, 95, of 222 Mill Creek Road, Pollocksville died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at her residence.

Her career was as a homemaker, wife and mother of twelve. She was a lifetime member of Free Will Chapel FWB Church.

Her celebration of life service will be Noon Friday, November 29, 2013 at Free Will Chapel FWB Church Hwy. 58 N, Pollocksville with the Reverend Angelo Brown, officiating. Burial will follow in the J. B. Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, John E. Hill of Columbia, SC; eight daughters, Mable Morris, of Pollocksville, NC, Katie Bovain of Columbia, SC, Mamie Merrill, Belle Bryant, Pearlie Bowen, Linda Phynon, Anie Mitchell all of Pollocksville, NC and Mary Strayhorn of New Bern; two brothers, Jonas Brown of Goldsboro, NC and Robert Brown of East Orange, NJ; forty-one grandchildren; ninety-four great-grandchildren and thirty-five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing hours are Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 pm at Oscar's Mortuary and Friday at the church an hour prior to the service.
