For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. Mrs. Rosell Epps Jefferson, age 87, of Warren County, NC gained her wings on April 30, 2020. She passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Yolanda Jefferson Bynum, in Oxford, NC.

A private graveside service for the immediate family will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 9th at Oak Level United Church of Christ in Manson, NC. The Reverend James Pettaway will officiate.

She leaves to cherish her memories, six sons, Rev. John Jefferson (Shirley), Thaxter Jefferson (Cessell), Gilbert Jefferson (Wendy) of Manson, NC, Thomas Jefferson (Gracie) of Mableton, Georgia, Darryl Jefferson (Toni) of Jackson, Tennessee and Stanley Jefferson of Manson, NC. Four daughters Evg. Loretta Pettaway(James) of Manson, NC, Jean Kearney(Carl) of Griffin, Georgia, Evg.Yolanda Bynum of Oxford, NC, and Evg. Gwendolyn Privett (Chris) of Manson NC and Tequella (Cornell) Hendrick of Manson, NC. One daughter-in-law Sylvia Jefferson, two sisters Lucy Williams (Alfred) and Elnora Young, one brother John L. Epps, two sister-in-laws, Nanny Epps and Lena Hickson and one brother-in-law William Edward Bullock. 38 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A flowing viewing of Mrs. Jefferson will be held at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, NC. on Friday, May 8th from 1:00pm -7:00pm.

Due to COVID-19 restriction, we must limit attendance to any service to 50 people or less; Therefore, we ask that you show your respect to the family during the viewing/visitation the day prior to the service.
