Aunt Nesa was different. Some would even consider her strange or weird and even though she was not perfect ( and none of us are) she was still used by God to fulfill His purpose on Earth. She had a testimony and blessing to be able to bring 5 wonderful children into this world, my cousins in which I love. God also used her to bring several people to Jesus Christ and the scriptures say that, "he that wins souls is wise!" Even after she was incapacitated by her strokes she still had a way to make me and others laugh especially when it came to fried chicken, lol. Aunt Nesa is in heaven now with Jesus Christ because her propose on Earth was complete and anyone that would like to see her again can if they choose to accept Jesus as their savior. I love you family, mourn for a moment but forever rejoice because Aunt Nesa had been freed from the that body that kept her bound, the cares of this world are over and now she is dancing and singing with her Lord, mother and father Sherman and Louise, her sister Shirlyn, her brothers Sherman and Harry. Love you Aunt Nesa and I'll see you soon, your nephew Breezy :o)

Nesa was a person I cherished going to see. During the time we shared in the salon, she would talk and keep me laughing about some of everything. You know as her words slowly disappeared, she was still able to say thank you with her eyes and you could feel that she wanted to say things but couldn't. You know as a mother, you leave a legacy. To her children, remember God loves you and take the good times of your mom and treasure them. She gave you all life, but God had you planned so go on a make your mother proud as she continues to be with you in heart..To YoYo, I realized you were her Nesa's "Ace". That Ace was always there, in all times. You made her smile, and you made her life complete. Nesa knew you loved her and your days with her will be everlasting memories. You are a person solely put on this earth to care and nurture. God knows his plans he has for you and he will continue to Bless you.To the family, yes it is difficult to see beyond the sorrow of today, but looking back in memory will help comfort you tommorrow.

Nesa was the angel on earth who ensured I gave my life to Christ at an early age, while hanging out at her parents' home, with her younger twin sisters one evening. I will always remember that special moment & her testimony! Rest in Paradise Nesa!
