She worked at Grover Industries and was an active member of Ellis Chapel Baptist Church until her declining health.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Feaster was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wilson Feaster Sr.; one great-grandson, Ke’hlin German and three sisters, Odessa Robbs, Shirley Brooks and Margaret Feaster: one brother Richard Hartgrove.
Mrs. Feaster leaves to cherish precious memories, three sons, Joe “Bobo” Feaster Jr. of the home, Kevin “Kojak” Feaster of Kannapolis, NC and Earnest “Ernie” Feaster of Oakland, MD; two sisters, Sunday Meeks (Thomas) of Grover, NC and Terry Hopper (Robert) of Shelby, NC; six grandchildren, Shereena Fuller, Kaitlyn Feaster, Jada Feaster, Jaleel Feaster, Kevin Parker Feaster and Arionna Robbins; four great-grandchildren, Karter Alexander, Jayceon Brooks, Mystah Freeman, Princess Feaster and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to recent coronavirus state guidelines limiting the size of gatherings, a memorial service for Mrs. Feaster will be held at a later date. She may be viewed on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
