Deacon Earnest Lucius Kendall was born on August 13, 1935, to the late Mrs. Lula Worthy Kendall and the late Mr. Bosie Kendall in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. He attended public school in the Upson County School System. At an early age, he joined the Log Town Bethel Church where he remained faithful until his health failed. When he reached manhood he found employment at Martha Mills Textiles. He was a faithful and dedicated employee which moved him up into supervisory position. He later met and married Mrs. Jannie Caldwell. He was the father of four children. His wife and one son, Willie Kendall preceded him in death. Deacon Kendall enjoyed fishing, playing softball, and dancing in his earlier years. In his later years, he enjoyed going to church and hearing the preached word. His two greatest accomplishment was being made a Mason and a Deacon at Log Town Bethel Church. His outlook on life change for the better. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, one brother, Edward Kendall, and one grandchild, Brandon Kendall. On April 25, 2020, the Lord looked down and saw his son in distress. He whispered his name; he answered and went home to rest. His departure has saddened the hearts of his family, but his memory will live on.
