Marcella T. Dixon, 91, of Steelton, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. She was born in Cartersville, GA, the oldest daughter of James and Jessie Mae (Davis) Tompkins and was also preceded in death by her husband, William Dixon, her son, Orville; daughter-in-law, Carolyn; her sister, Flora Lee Dickey; her nephew, Tyrone Dickey and stepbrother, Donald Barber.

Marcella retired from Hershey Foods and in her leisure, she loved reading her bible, watching sports & old westerns on TV and celebrating all occasions with her family. She is survived by granddaughters, Yonneice Dixon Nwankwo (Victor); Oona Dixon (Charles); grandson, Jamaal Dixon; great granddaughters, Dominique Brown and Iyonna Dixon (Kenny); great grandson, Dorien Dixon; great-great grandaughter, Nyeima Jones; nephews, James Dickey (Sharon) and Michael Dickey (Linda) ; nieces, Sandra Dickey Sanders and Giovannah Anderson. Private Viewing and Burial and due to COVID 19, there will be a Memorial Service at a later date.
