Wayne W. Williams, 47, of Harrisburg transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at M. S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born in New York City, son of the late Joann Mount and Wayne Woods; an employee of Holiday Inn–Grantville, a master barber who owned his own shop and a published author. In his leisure, he enjoyed producing music, writing, cooking, spending time with his wife and traveling back to New York. He was the No. #1 fan of the NY Giants & NY Yankees. Wayne leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Carisa Williams; one son; his brother, Roy Williams; his sisters, Crystal Williams, Verna Bogan, Joann Jeffries and Tamiko Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Friday, May 8 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing 11 a.m. until 12 Noon and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
