Irene Wise, 88, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at UPMC Community General Osteopathic Hospital.

She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Fletcher and Daisy (Kenny) Smith, retired from Harrisburg School District, a member of People's Community Baptist Church and in her leisure, she was an avid reader. Irene was the widow of Norman Wise, Sr. and leaves to celebrate her life, her daughters, Linda Wise and Lisa Williams (Roland); her son, Norman Wise, Jr.; her sister, Lorraine Williams, all of Harrisburg; her two grandchildren; her great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated privately on Monday, May 11 in the Sanctuary of her Church at 2001 Chestnut Street followed by burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
