Bobbie Joe Robinson of Charlotte, NC Funeral will be Saturday May 9, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. and Visitation at 12:30 p.m. at Progressive Baptist Church.

Bobbie Joe Robinson born in Chester, SC on July 26th , 1949. She later moved to Charlotte, NC where she transitioned on Friday , May 1 st , 2020. Bobbie Joe is the daughter of the late Wylie Robinson and Mattie Mae Norman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Quacy Robinson, and sister Mattie Robinson (Tina). Bobbie Joe also known as BJ attended school in Charlotte, NC. She also worked for Carrington Place for many years until she retired. BJ was the head cook at Carrington Place until her health started failing. She loved and treated everyone the same and was loved by many. BJ was and still is a very blessed woman. She leaves behind many , many loved ones : Son ; Alfred Eugene Robinson Sr. (Sandra), Stepson ; Bobby Black (Robbin); Three sisters, Rosalee Robinson, Shirley Reel, and Jacqueline Norman; Five brothers; Mack Arthur Robinson, George Norman Jr, Nikita Norman, Charles Norman, and Hosea Norman. BJ also leaves behind one granddaughter ; Alexis Robinson, five grandsons ; Alonzo Hampton, Antwon Patrick (Latoya), Alfred Robinson Jr. (Alisha), Quacy Robinson (Kasmira), and Bobby Robinson (Mynnye), eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
