Obituary For Hayward Johnson

A Celebration of Life will be held for Mr. Hayward Johnson, who passed away on April 29, 2020, will be held at Integrity Funeral Services 3822 E. 7th Avenue Tampa Fl on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Steve Guyton, Officiating.

Hayward Johnson was born to the late Elisa Johnson and Othelia Peacock in Swainsboro, Georgia on June 30, 1944. In 1975, he relocated to Tampa Florida and was employed for many years as a Gardener with EMS Specialty Vehicles. As an avid fisherman he met no strangers. He had a beautiful personality always talking with others. His specialty was making a tasteful Banana Pudding.

Hayward Johnson was preceded in death by life partner Josephine Williams and sisters Annie Bell Johnson and Julia Nell Gordon.

He leaves to cherish his fondest memories, his loving daughters: Perschell Johnson, Joyce Copeland, Joann Mathews, Mary Williams, and Laverne Rhanes; Sons; Hayward Johnson Sr., Gary, Clifton, and Howard Williams. Grandson: Hayward Jr.; Granddaughters: Emma, Monique, and La’Torria Johnson; Granddaughter and caregiver: Ms. Roshawnda Rhanes; devoted great-grandchildren: Keondre and Sache Speights, and an abundance of sorrowing grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Services. Social Distancing for all attendees will be effect.
