Obituary For Anthony "Tony" Napier

Anthony Montez “Tony” Napier, age 44, passed away, Sunday, May 10th, 2020 at Danville Health and Rehabilitation Centre after a long courageous fight. Tony was born November 30, 1975 in Danville, Kentucky to Ann Yocum Griffin and Monroe Napier Jr.

He was a 1995 graduate of Danville High School. He loved to fish, hunt and most of all he loved his children, parents and family. Tony was previously employed by the City of Danville.

Tony is preceded in death by his sister Donna A. Napier, grandfathers, Roy Yocum and Monroe Napier Sr. and stepmother Sadie Napier.

He is survived by his parents Ann (James) Griffin and Monroe Napier, Jr.; two daughters Shelby Napier and Paisley Napier; a granddaughter Braelee Napier; two brothers Shawn Napier and Austin Napier; his grandmothers, Dora Yocum and Victoria Perkins; two nephews Blake Napier and Anthony Taylor; several aunts, and uncles, special friend, Carl “K.B.” Barleston; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

In compliance with the requirements for Kentucky Funeral Homes set forth by Governor Andy Beshear and the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky, all funeral services and burials are private.
