Obituary For Tina Daniels

Tina Louise Daniels, 50, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternity peacefully in her sleep at her home on Saturday May 2, 2020 after battling valiantly with various medical issues. She was born to the union of Paul and Dorothy Hoch in Harrisburg, where she attended the former John Harris High School. Tina was a former member of Bethany A. M. E. Church and Kingdom Life Ministries. On April 11, 1981, she married the late Barry A. Daniels, Jr. who was the love of her life. Tina was a longtime personal housekeeper across Central PA in addition to being a loving Mother and dedicated homemaker. She loved animals and the great outdoors, especially camping with her family. As her health declinded, she often repeated the quote “I Fight, You Fight, We All Fight. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in transitioning by one of her daughters, Wakeeta Lee Daniels-Louis-Jeune; her father, Paul Hoch and her grandmother, Maxine “Gram” Hoch and leaves to celebrate her life and to cherish precious memories, her children, Cheri Bailey (Prate), of South Florida, Barry A. Daniels III, Shareen Miller (Ron), Frances Tucker (Darnell), Kareem Daniels and Nicole Hoch; her mother, Dorothy Hoch; her sisters, Deborah Basham (Bill), Cynthia Hoch (Alfred, Sr.), Tracy Baltimore (Mike) and Paula Hoch, all of Harrisburg; her 15 grandchildren; her two great grandchildren; dozens of adopted children and grandchilden and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tina’s life was celebrated on Tuesday, May 12 with a private service in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral followed by private burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
