There are many memories that I have of Louise as a sister, however, one of the happiest that we all still laugh about is of my sister's, Irene, Leonida, Carolyn and I having her as our own personal hair dresser. When it came to our hair, she cut if off, burned it up, burned us and no where else can you go where curls would last a month through rain, sleet and snow and would not budge. Even the comp would not work. She would laugh while the straightening comb was resting on our heads. The sad part is, I could not even pay her hair dresser Mrs. Susie Mae to burn her so she would know how it felt. The good thing is her friend Cynthia who later did her paid her back for how she treated us as she burned her all the time. Now, when I get anything done to my hair where heat is used, I still have post traumatic stress--SMILE!
