Obituary For Minister Jewel Marie Smith

Jewel Marie Smith was born January 17, 1960 in Vero Beach, FL to the late Leroy and Jewel Johnson. Jewel was one of six children and the third oldest.

Jewel received her basic education through the Indian River County School System(Clemmons Elementary, Gifford Middle School for sixth & seventh grade, Vero Beach Junior High, and Vero Beach Senior High School. She attended Keiser University in Port St. Lucie. On March 22, 1988, Jewel was united in marriage to Keith Smith and together they completed the upbringing of their son, Quintin Smith.

On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, Jewel was called home by her Savior. Jewel was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Alford.

Jewel leaves to cherish her lifelong memories her husband, Keith Smith of Vero Beach, FL; one son, Quintin Smith of Vero Beach, FL; four sisters, Linda Agustus of Vero Beach, FL, Sherry Jenkins of Vero Beach, FL, Vivian Johnson of Melbourne, FL, Melanie (Anthony)Brown of Vero Beach, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends and the entire Abiding Presence International Ministries Family of where she served faithfully.

Public visitation for Mrs. Jewel Marie Smith will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 10:00am-11:00am at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach, FL which will be followed by her funeral service which will begin promptly at 11:00am.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID 19 have been relaxed, we here at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. We ask that you respect this, as it could very well save your life. We also ask that you acknowledge and execute the 6 ft. social distancing guidelines, as well.
