Obituary For David W. Malloy

Mr. David W. Malloy, 54, of Reidsville, NC died Thursday, May 14, 2020. A PRIVATE SERVICE WILL BE HELD (NO VISITATION). THERE WILL NOT BE A PUBLIC VIEWING.

David Wayne Malloy, affectionally known as “Wayne” and “Dave” was born September 20, 1965 in Rockingham County to the late Herman A. and Willette Cummings Malloy. He departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Annie Penn Hospital, Reidsville, NC. As a devoted brother, he loved his brothers and sisters along with his nieces and nephews. He was formerly employed at Dominoes in Greensboro, NC before his health declined. He was a member of Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church in Madison, NC where he served on the Board of Trustees, a former member of the Finance Committee, Usher Board, the United Methodist Men and a supporter of the youth. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Malloy and Tom Malloy, his grandparents, John and Golden Cummings and Tom and Pearl Malloy. He is survived by his brothers; Herman A. Malloy of Greensboro, NC, Travis Malloy (Martha) of Kinston, NC and Gary Malloy (Kaye) of Stoneville, NC, sisters; Gloria Wall (Johnathan) and Deborah Malloy both of Madison, NC, Also a special nephew, Nicholas Malloy and niece Madison Malloy both of Reidsville, NC, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
