On Wednesday, March 18, 1992, Ms. Corneisha Nicole Burton began her earthly journey to the union of Adam Jerome Garrett and Kelly Denise Burton in Talladega, Alabama.

Ms. Burton gave her life to Christ at an early age and united with Kelly Springs Missionary Baptist Church where her passion and love for the Lord lead her to sing in the choir, attend Sunday school under the leadership of Ms. Carolyn Jackson, dance with the young adult praise dance team and assist with the kitchen committee when needed. Corneisha was a member of the 2012 graduating class of Talladega High School. She had a love for music which lead her to play in the Talladega High School Band. In her spare time, Neisha enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews and cousins. She had a genuine passion and love for children.

Corneisha began her eternal journey on Friday, May 15, 2020, at her residence. She was preceded in passing by her mother, Kelly D. Burton; grandparents, Freddie L. White, Willie L. Burton White and John Walter Finley; an aunt, Latasha Burton; and an uncle, Elijah Evans.

Ms. Burton leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Adam Garrett of Talladega, Alabama; her grandmother, Betty Ann Garrett of Talladega, Alabama; one sister, Shontell Burton of Talladega, Alabama; three aunts, Gladys Garrett and Rhonda Garrett of Talladega, Alabama and Felicia Garrett of Childersburg, Alabama; three uncles, Larry Garrett and Brian Garrett of Talladega, Alabama and Freddie White, Jr. of Anniston, Alabama; a special friend, Celester Funderburg of Talladega, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
