Mrs. Ethel Lee Borden Terrell was born on Monday, October 6, 1930, to Lue Borden in Talladega, Alabama.
Mrs. Terrell confessed Christ to be her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Stockdale. She attended school in Talladega County and spent many years demonstrating her culinary skills at the Purifoy Hotel and Gardner's Catering Service.
Ethel traded time for eternity on Saturday, May 16, 2020, while she was a patient at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. She was preceded in passing by her husband, John Terrell; her mother, Lue Borden; and a brother, Thomas Borden.
Mrs. Terrell leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Aline (Patrick) Garrett and Sandra Scott of Talladega, Alabama; one son, Wilbur Terrell of Talladega, Alabama; four grandchildren, Patrick D. Garrett of Talladega, Alabama, Lionel (Krystal) Garrett of Alabaster, Alabama, Bitrell Scott of Kennesaw, Georgia and Iesha (John) Bell of Lincoln, Alabama; six great grandchildren, Tykeria Millender, Alandiyah Millender, Kennedi Garrett, McKenzie Scott, John Bell, Jr. and Jackson W. Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
