Novella Thames Spann Purvis, 85, died Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation, Sumter, SC. She was born April 24, 1935 a daughter of the late Vernon Thames, Sr., and Bertha Starks Thanes.

Grave side services for Mrs. Purvis will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 22, 2020 at New Hope Community Cemetery, Pinewood, SC.
