Mrs. Gennie Mae Harrell 85, of Unadilla GA entered into eternal rest on Sunday May 17, 2020.

Funeral Services for Mrs.Gennie Mae Harrell 85, of Unadilla GA will be Saturday May 23, 2020 will be Private. Committal Service will be at the Evergreen Cemetery Unadilla .Public Visitation will be held Friday May 22 from 3-6 p.m.

Sister Gennie Mae Harrell was a native of Houston County, GA. She was educated in the Houston County School System. She loved cooking, ushering, talking on the phone, cleaning, and being around family. In her earlier years she served faithfully at the Camp Creek Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.T. Hill. She then moved on to serve as one of the mothers of the church at Friendship Baptist Church until her untimely death. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Harrell Jr. and four children; Emma Gene Davis, Laura Bell Colbert, Bennie Harrell, and Lewis Harrell (Toomer). She leaves the cherish her memories six loving children; Mr. Robert (Joanne) Harrell of Cobb, GA, Mr. David (Mary) Harrell of Unadilla, GA, Mrs. Jenatha (Willie) Felder of Perry, GA, Mrs. Nancy (Ronnie) Bolden of Unadilla, GA, Mrs. Jacqueline (Willie) McIntee of Chapin, SC, and Ms. Tammy Robinson of Unadilla, GA. Three devoted siblings; Mr. Charlie (Mae) Radford of Warner Robins, GA, Ms. Carrie Mae Green of Perry, GA, and Mr. Wallace Toomer, Jr, of Miami, FL; Two sisters-in-law Betty Jean Harrell of Unadilla, GA and Lee Bell of Atlanta, GA; One brother-in-law Johnny Harrell of Unadilla, GA. 19 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; Two special and devoted friends Gwendolyn Dinson and Zeffie Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, and many sorrowing friends.
