Obituary For Ms. Trevay Stroman

Private funeral services will be held for Miss. Trevay Stroman, 12, of 145 Bugle Flowers Road, St. Matthews, SC.

Trevay Arianna Stroman’s journey into life began September 14, 2007, in Orangeburg, SC. Trevay’s journey ended on May 17, 2020.

She departed this life with her mother, Shanta Singleton and her sister, Essence Stroman.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Deloris Johnson and Jerome Simmons.

Left to cherish the memories of Trevay is her father, Treg Johnson of Holly Hill, SC; her two loving sisters Shantasia and Trevonna Stroman of Orangeburg, SC. Her grandparents, Doris Stroman of Orangeburg, SC, Elijah (Jannie) Fields of North, SC, Clayann Collier of Holly Hill, SC, Shirley Brown of Holly Hill, SC; God-parents, Shekema Stroman of Orangeburg, SC, Natalie Thomas and Robert Felder of Orangeburg, SC; God-sister, Shamaria Stroman of Orangeburg, SC; special cousin, Raheem Middleton of Orangeburg, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Travay’s favorite colors were orange and pink. Her favorite food was fried chicken. She liked to watch the tv show Riverdale. She was a very creative, vivid, phenomenal, and unique person. Trevay loved to dance and sing. She was an intelligent young lady, who aspired to become a cosmetologist. She attended St. Matthews K-8 School.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. Masks are required to gain entry to the funeral home.

Friends may call at the Stroman residence, 899 Nance Street, Orangeburg or Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg. Immediate family may visit the residence daily between the hours of 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions.
